The meeting started at 7am when CA Vikash Baid, our mentor, joined us. Then, the Master of Ceremony (MOC), YP Ashok Mahawar took over the Dias and invited YP Adarsh Nahata, the first speaker to speak on the topic allotted to him and henceforth other YPs proceeded. Later on Mr. Madan Jhawar joined CA Vikash Baid.
Mentor critically examined the whole session after every three speakers. He decided not to allot marks to speakers, as previously decided, as many were speaking in public for the first time. So he commented on each speaker individually, giving ideas for improvement. In his opinion content of most of the speakers was not up to the mark. He also pointed out that the topics could have been more thoroughly researched. He appreciated Lokesh Chandak, Roshni Agarwal and Amrit Singh for their contents. A couple of speakers were asked to work on their excessive hand movements. Hand movement should be limited to emphasize on important points. He pointed out that each speaker should focus more on their voice modulation. This way he kept on giving valuable feedback. He suggested there should be brain storming session and light moments in every speech which was included by Vineeta Patwari, who started with a brain storming session. Priyanka Sureka also took an example to explain her content which was well appreciated.
YP Vineeta Patwari and YP Lokesh Chandak were declared joint winner. Since marks were not given so further ranking not possible. Later on YP Rahul Chowdhary, YP Ashok Mahawar and YP Sharad Mundhra, the coordinators had given their opinion and insight on the topic allotted to them.
After this session a quiz was organized by MOC with Co-ordinator YP Rahul Agarwal. YPs were divided into three groups and there were three rounds together with a tie breaker round between two winning team. Quiz was very informative and well appreciated.
Later on YP Rohit Biyani and MOC informed about grand event in next meet which is subject to confirmations. They also informed the members about the Draft Application & Admission criteria and forms.
